McDougal/Wilson Design Inc believes a person’s healthy behavior focus can best be influenced by the earliest possible exposure to healthy behavior information. We believe very young children possess a natural curiosity about their environment and their bodies and are eager learners in taking some responsibility for the care of their own bodies. Our focus and commitment therefore is to develop quality simple fun learning tools that first teach and then encourage consistent practice of learned healthy habits. With the early introduction of healthy behavior knowledge and the practice focus through play we believe children will develop pride in taking responsibility for the care of their bodies increasing the likelihood health focused children will become health conscious adults.

Our products when used in play with the learned behaviors practiced over time as the child grows will support the beginning of a strong commitment to seeking out wellness knowledge, an active focus on a preventive approach to injury and disease and a healthy lifestyle.
Louise McDougal RN, MSN has many years experience in emergency care and community health, is a winter sports enthusiast, and is very passionate about healthy kids and teaching healthy behaviors to children as early in life as possible.
